I’m Chavika –I lived in Dubai for more than 12 years and recently moved to New Zealand for my doctoral studies. I am an Accountant by profession and Baking has always been a passion of mine; the self-satisfaction and appreciation received for my work lead to the beginning of Sugar ‘N Spice Box in 2014. Later, I took the opportunity to learn more about the culinary arts by taking classes from ‘Queen of hearts couture cakes’. There, I learned and developed my skills in fondant decorations, chocolate making, and various other patisserie skills. As time passed by, my love for baking grew; so I started creating some confectionaries and goodies. Gooey fudge brownies and triple chocolate cookies were some of the all-time favourites; my kids especially love it. I would like to widen my horizons and eventually build Sugar ‘N Spice Box into a business that creates sweet memories.
